Create an experience, not “next, next, oh look a quiz!”

I love Cathy Moore’s work.

I always get so much out of her slideshare presentations about best practice when designing e-learning scenarios.  Below is her latest which shows how it is important to create scenarios for e-learning, as opposed to reading ridiculous amounts of information and then answering a quiz.

I also like how she takes the concepts behind ‘experiential’  learning (for example: outdoor, adventure or game based learning) and applies them to the e-learning environment.  It definately makes for a much more engaging experience.  Awesome stuff!
